City of Lawrenceville Property Tax information for 2004 and prior years is now available online.  Information concerning all taxes for 2004 and prior years can be obtained by clicking here or by following the link on the right side of the page.  The links will open in a new browser window.

Beginning with tax year 2005, the Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner's Office will bill and collect property taxes for the City of Lawrenceville.  The City of Lawrenceville tax will be included on your 2005 Gwinnett County tax bill.  Please call the Gwinnett County Department of Property Tax at 770-822-8800 with any questions regarding the billing of this tax.

City tax for 2004 and prior years will not be available through Gwinnett County's website.  If you have questions regarding City taxes for 2004 and prior years, please call 770-963-2414.

The City of Lawrenceville's property tax is based on the Gwinnett County Tax Digest.  If you need information concerning exemptions that you might be eligible to receive, please visit the Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner's website located here.  You will find detailed information there on how to qualify and apply for those exemptions.

Tax Billing and Payments

Gwinnett County will mail the 2005 property tax bills on August 15.  For payment instructions for your 2005 taxes, we suggest that you call the Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner's office or visit their website located here.  You will find detailed information there concerning paying online and retrieving your tax information.

To insure proper credit for payments of City taxes for 2004 and prior years, continue to pay all prior year taxes to City of Lawrenceville, P.O. Box 2200, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.  All taxes not paid are subject to a 10% annual interest charge.
